I'm a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign under the advisory of Professor Andrew Singer. My research interests include digital signal processing, adaptive filtering, multiple antenna systems, and wireless communications. I was born in Hong Kong in 1979. I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science in 2001, and M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2003, both at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I joined ViaSat Inc at Carlsbad CA as an 6-month intern from July 2006 to January 2007 in the development of advanced satellite communications subsystem. My Ph.D. dissertation is about the theory and implementation of a Bayesian approach to adaptive beamforming with unknown signal direction-of-arrivals. My expected graduation date is Aug 2008.
